What began as a story about survival slowly became something larger.

A journey stretching from the Dark Ages to the present day emerged through memory, family, trauma, resilience, and how one life can alter the course of another.

At the center of Inheritance of Ashes stands Sewd Bollon, a man whose influence extends far beyond death.

Inheritance of Ashes: The Trilogy

The Possession

Tenth-century Scotland

The origins of Sewd Bollon begin with a manor-born boy whose life is shattered by loss. As tragedy and violence reshape him, he embraces a spirit world offered through folklore and belief. Haunted by the deaths of his Norse wife, Frey, and their son, he transforms into the man who will carry the three faces of a monster across centuries.

The Guest

A war-torn America of the 1940s

Nolie, a young Choctaw girl, struggles to survive a shattered world while caught in the web of Sewd Bollon. As her journey carries her ever northward through loss, violence, and uncertainty, she must decide how much of herself she is willing to sacrifice in order to survive.

The Inheritance

California’s Central Valley, 1960s

Candace, a small-town debutante, and Soledad, a young Mexican American girl, discover there are things worse than death. As Sewd’s influence reaches into a new generation, Soledad must confront the cost of everything she has fought to protect.

Why These Stories?

While the characters and events are fictional, the emotional truths behind them are deeply personal.

My writing blends psychological fiction, literary storytelling, historical influences, and post-apocalyptic themes. Through survival, identity, memory, and the enduring impact people have upon one another, these stories explore the choices we make, the burdens we inherit, and the consequences that follow.

Welcome

Whether you are discovering the series for the first time or returning to continue the journey, thank you for visiting.

What survives is not always what remains.
